We have a number of short-term sites in Devon with low Environmental impact, due to being set up for only a month at a time.

The sites have been specifically picked for their location and breathtaking scenery, either set as close as possible to the Dartmoor National Park or the sea.

None of the sites have been located in areas of heavy traffic or any density of population, however some of the sites are within easy walking distance of small villages shops and village pubs.

The Yurts are constructed of the best canvas that can be obtained, and are robust enough to withstand any weather, however they are dissasembled during the winter months as the camps are seasonal, and given their locations if they were there all the year round they would have an impact on what is an beautiful, unspoiled environment.

The timber frames are made from locally-sourced Larch, which lends itself towards this kind of construction. The Yurts are set on a deck with a walkway to ensure minimal impact to the area, and also to provide a dry and substantial base for the Yurts.

Depending on the site, the Yurts either have their own cooking facilities or a communal cooking area, or a combination of both.

Each Yurt can accommodate up to six people easily, or as little as two with a substantial amount of space. Showers and toilets are also dependant of site and requirement, from shower and toilet blocks to individual self contained facilities.

Some of the sites are in woodland and some are in open areas surrounded by woodland, we can offer secluded yurts that have litle to no contact with other site users, and we can also offer a more communal feel - with shared barbecue and open fires.

There are numerous things to do in Devon.

We can offer a number of activities including Walking, Sailing, Kayaking, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Fishing, Quad Biking.

With the locations of the camps being so close to Dartmoor and the sea, we can offer guided walks for all abilities on varied terrains including the National Park and the south west coast path. We have arrangements with providers of numerous activities and - as we do not take commission from them - we are able to offer you a gold class service because of our already established working relationships.
